Pentax Auto-Takumar 35mm f/3.5 wide-angle M42 lens

This Pentax wide-angle lens was purchased new in 1961 in Japan by my father, who has asked me to list it here.

• Original Pentax lens cap and rear cap
• Blue felt-lined hard leather case for protection.
• Lens marked: Auto-Takumar 1:3.5/35 Asahi Opt Co., Lens Made in Japan 356409
• 5-bladed aperture
• Lever on outside (by f/11 marking) is for resetting aperture blades after exposure. (Does not automatically re-open to full aperture)
• No fungus, essentially no visible internal dust
• M42 screw-mount
• 46mm filter thread

It has had a single owner, and was stored in its leather case the entire time. It was also kept in a smoke-free, pet-free home.
