Johns Hopkins Choral Society

The Johns Hopkins Choral Society was founded in 1883 by Woodrow Wilson and his peers. The Choral Society is the oldest student-run activity on campus. Over the years, the club has gone through many transitions and names including the Banjo Club, the Mandolin Club, and the Glee Club before settling on the Choral Society in 1985. The Choral Society promotes the choral arts both on campus and beyond. Tours have taken the group to New York, Atlantic City, Poland, and Williamsburg. Annual events include two major concerts and singing Valentines. The Choral Society is open to all students and community members.
