When Fenlon Lamb debuted as Rosina in Il Barbieri di Siviglia, the Sacramento Bee wrote that she was “every inch the saucy rebel who navigated the highly ornamented passages with creamy ease.” Of her portrayal of Carmen for the Granite State Opera Company, OperaOnline said that she was “gifted with a wonderful, resonant voice that packs plenty of emotion in all the right places in the score.”

Ms. Lamb has appeared with the Cleveland Orchestra as Angelina in La Cenerentola and in a semi-staged version of Der Rosenkavalier. With the Cleveland Opera, she has appeared as Stephano in Roméo et Juliette, in the title role of Gilbert & Sullivan’s Iolanthe, with Sanford Sylvan in the world premiere of Come to Me in Dreams, and as the Beggar Woman in Sweeney Todd, a performance described by Opera News as “moving and convincing.” She recently reprised the role of Carmen with Mississippi Opera. She has sung Dorabella in Così fan tutte at the Caramoor International Music Festival, Opera Santa Barbara, and Bar Harbor Music Festival. For Opera Vivente in Baltimore, she has portrayed Charlotte in Werther; Maddalena in Rigoletto, conducted by Jed Gaylin; Bradamante in Alcina; and the title role in Agrippina, which, the Baltimore Sun wrote, “revealed a bright, flexible voice, ever-vibrant phrasing and theatrical flourish.”

As a concert soloist, Ms. Lamb has sung Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with the Akron Symphony and had repeat invitations with the Toledo Symphony. She also sang Mozart’s Mass in C with the Hartford Symphony, and Mozart’s Mass in C Minor with the Cleveland Choral Arts Society.

In February 2008 she returns to Sacramento Opera for The Turn of the Screw, followed in May by her Seattle Opera debut as Enrichetta in I Puritani.
