Alexander (Sasha) Kashlinsky "dark flow" discovery 2008-2011

In 2008 (citation needed!), Alexander Kashlinsky published a paper in ApJ, the Astrophysical Journal, about a new phenomenon called "dark flow." I don't know if it was due to a particular press release or what, but this apparently became a phenomenon in the non-English blogosphere. Thus, information about his team's discovery, accompanied by my staff photo of him, appeared on web sites in many languages, including Swedish, Greek, two in Russian (including a Ukrainian site), and two in Portugese.
