On September 3, 2015, Beth El hosted David Makovsky of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy Studies, to discuss the Iran Nuclear Agreement. He presented arguments from both sides, and then took written, submitted questions from the audience. He was joined on the bimah by organizer/moderator Larry Sidman of Beth El.
I shot photos that evening, basically documenting the event (although they are not visually fascinating). My SmugMug photo gallery of this event was sent separately to the Washington Jewish Week and to the editors of the Beth El Scroll. Interestingly, they independently chose to run the same image. Oddly, however, the Jewish Week ran the photo 'bare' (no accompanying article) and ran it on their Celebrations page (which is usually wedding, bar/bat mitzvah, and birth announcements).
