Jane Rigby and JWST mirror

In the spring of 2016, the James Webb Space Telescope primary mirror was under assembly in the huge clean room at NASA/GSFC. Goddard employees were encouraged to come to the large observation deck window to see the beautiful gold mirror first hand. Although I had previously taken a 'staff photo' of Jane in our building, she requested that I take one of her with JWST (since she is one of the Project Scientists for JWST).

In addition to her staff bio page on the Goddard web site, the image has been reproduced multiple other places:

This photo was used for her profile photo for the American Physical Society (APS) Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics (part of Supporting Inclusion of Underrepresented Peoples (SPIN-UP)) ( https://sites.google.com/site/harvardcuwip/), held at Harvard University in January 2017.

She has also used this as her profile photo for her Twitter account.
