1975 Washington University Founders Day Awards
Each year, around the time of the university's founding (late February/early March), the Founders Day Banquet honors distinguished alumni as well as faculty members (chosen by the alumni). Michael received one of these awards in March 1975. The keynote speaker was Art Buchwald, the syndicated humor/political columnist, and the program shown below is autographed by him.
"Five faculty members will be honored for special ability as teachers."
