Jessica passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, and her funeral was held the following Wednesday (March 5) at Berger Memorial Chapel in St. Louis, officiated by Rabbi Eliezer Finkelstein of Congregation Bais Abraham.

One of the few good things to come out of the COVID-19 pandemic (2019-2021) was live-streamed life events (including funerals). This allowed people from all over the world to tune in to a funeral, when they might not otherwise be able to come into town. Many places have continued this in the years since.
