This was an email announcement, combining the obituary with shiva information for Rachel's Tifereth Israel (and David and Sheryl's Congregation Beth El).
Photo credit and image info: The
photo of Jessica
used throughout is one David shot June 15, 2008 as part of a
photo shoot for Michael and Jessica's 50th wedding anniversary.

This was maybe
two months after David had started his journey with studio lighting. Thus, this image was shot an a Canon
EOS 20D digital SLR at 1/160th sec at f/9.0, ISO 100, using two Alien Bees B800 studio strobes with
a 42" umbrella camera left and a 24" softbox camera right. (You can tell from the "catchlights" in the eyes!)
Tributes
Early Music Missouri
EMMo is an period performance practice musical ensemble in St. Louis. This is the group to which Jessica donated her harpsichord when she was moving out of the house in 2022 (as described here). In addition she attended multiple concerts of theirs during her last few years, always a great pleasure for her.
About two weeks after her death, on March 17, EMMo posted a tribute to her on both their announcement email list and on their Facebook page. (The Facebook entry is the same text, with the added intro of Mourning the Loss of a Cherished Supporter.)
This was both completely unexpected and very much appreciated by all of us in the family.
Bais Abe/Gan Zissa
Jessica's very long-time synagogue dedicated their back garden to her in a ceremony in August 2025. Click on the colorful poster graphic at right to read about this in more detail.
